Jenny grew up in San Diego and has been living in the Bay Area for over twenty five years.  As it was a musical family Jenny’s home was always filled with music.  She starting singing in school and churches as a child and continues to this day.  Jenny started writing music in the late 80’s when she and her sister played the coffee house circuit all around the Bay Area and by special invitation to certain events such as Spirit West Coast.  While raising a family, Jenny led worship, taught children’s choirs and gave private vocal lessons to children for over ten years.  Through teaching Jenny

developed a singing style all her own.  “It’s all about singing from the heart”  has been Jenny’s most important lesson for her students to learn. Melody and emotion are the things that drive her to not only perform a song but to take a song and turn it into a story to be told.  Her favorite vocalists range from Robert Plant to Steve Perry, Ann Wilson to Eva Cassidy. 

Jenny hopes to be able to use her talents and a lyricist and melodic writer over the next year, by collaborating with the members of GLR to bring original music to the forefront of what they do.
